Siembra is a chronicle of dishes, ingredients, food travels, inspirations and rants from Bay Area native Chef Alaun Grimaud. Alaun Grimaud is a Chef Instructor at the International Culinary Center (French Culinary Institute) and was most recently Executive Chef of Julia’s Restaurant in Berkeley, CA where he garnered numerous Opentable diner’s choice awards including best food and best overall restaurant. Chef Alaun’s dishes and menus are seasonally driven and inspired by the food traditions of France, Spain, Italy, North Africa and Latin America. Enjoy!
