Siembra is a chronicle of dishes, ingredients, food travels, inspirations and rants from Bay Area native Alaun Grimaud. Alaun Grimaud is a Chef and was most recently Executive Chef of Julia’s at the Berkeley City Club where he garnered numerous Opentable diner’s choice awards including best food and best overall restaurant. Chef Alaun’s dishes and menus are seasonally driven and inspired by the food traditions of France, Spain, Italy, North Africa and Latin America. Enjoy!
